Mass spectrometer detector Sampling cone custom-made Custom Processing
In ICP-MS analysis, the sample is usually introduced into the argon stream as an aerosol of aqueous solution and then into the central region of argon isoliths excited by radio frequency energy at atmospheric pressure. The high temperature of the plasma causes desolvation, vaporization dissociation and ionization of the sample. Part of the plasma enters the vacuum system through different pressure regions, and the sampling cone is responsible for effectively transmitting the ions in the plasma to the mass spectrum section.
Technical requirements:
Sampling cones are usually made of metals such as Ni, Al, Cu, Pt, among which Ni cones are most used.
Application areas:
Sampling cones are widely used in environmental monitoring, soil testing, water quality testing, laboratory and industrial fields to collect and analyze a variety of liquid, solid and gas samples. In practical applications, it is necessary to select the appropriate sampling cone according to the specific needs and working conditions, and optimize the structural design to achieve efficient and stable particle sampling.
